Tigerboy and Henry
were still thinking of speeches for while he was running for mayor. However, thousands of miles above the ground,
in the land of the Egyptian Gods, stood The Jackal; waiting for the Egyptian
Queen’s permission to go down to the land of the mortals and help
Tigerboy. Last year, when The Jackal was
brought to the Land of the Mortals, Tigerboy had helped him understand why he
had been sent there. The Jackal had
promised himself he would repay Tigerboy.
A messenger for the Queen ran up to Jackal and told him that the
Queen would like to see him. The Jackal
set off for the Queen’s palace. When he
got there he bowed so low his ears touched the floor. The Queen told him he was allowed to go back
to the Land of the Mortals to visit Tigerboy.
The Gates of the Heavens opened and The Jackal was given his Orbs just
in case he was attacked. He jumped into
the Land of the Mortals and landed right at Tigerboy’s front door. When Tigerboy saw him he gasped. In a low voice Tigerboy said, “Jackal, is
that you?” The Jackal grinned and they
gave each other a big hug.
Henry asked Tigerboy who The Jackal was. Tigerboy told Henry the story of how The
Jackal and Tigerboy met. Suddenly, they
heard a big thumping noise outside.
